NEW! Zoo Lights is almost here!
December 4-6, 11-13, 18-23, 26-27, 2009
This December, the Zoo will be transformed into a magical world of lights! Come to the Zoo
during the evening hours to see Santa
and enjoy the lights, free hot cocoa, coffee and cookies, and more! Each
evening will feature live entertainment from local groups. Photos with Santa will
be available at an additional charge. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or
in advance at the Zoo's admission window during regular Zoo hours.
Congratulations to our 2009 ZOOm Photo Contest Winners!
We had many great entries into our third annual ZOOm Photo Contest this year! The Best of Show winner
and top of the Animal Portrait category is this vulture photo submitted by Jacob Smith. His grand prize
is a behind-the-scenes tour for up to six people, a one-year family membership to the Zoo, and his photo
will be on the cover of the December issue of ZooNews. Thank you

Join Us for Fall or Winter Zoo Camp Adventures!
Fall and Winter Zoo Camp Adventures will be here before you know it! Bring your child to
the Zoo during fall and winter break for a single-day animal adventure they will never forget.
Several adventures with different themes are offered for children ages 3 to 11. For more

Fresno Chaffeee Zoo is pleased to reintroduce children's birthday party packages at the
Zoo. Book your party with us and we will help you create a fantastic
adventure for all of your guests as they celebrate your child's big day. All parties include
time in our private party area, Jungle Bungalow, plus safari hats and glasses for your guests
and a special shirt for the birthday boy or girl.
